OxRad

The pipeline

How OxRad works

DICOM in, drafted report out, a radiologist signs. The whole pipeline runs on your premises, and nothing transits the cloud.

  1. 01

    Scan in

A study arrives from the modality in standard DICOM, straight to the OxRad on-site node.

  2. 02

    Drafted on-site

OxRad Intelligence reads the study and drafts the report on hardware in your clinic.

  3. 03

    Draft report

A structured draft is produced locally, ready for clinical review.

  4. 04

    Radiologist signs

A qualified radiologist reviews, edits if needed, and signs. OxRad never signs.

01

Scan in

A study arrives from the modality in standard DICOM and lands on the OxRad on-site node. It enters the pipeline without ever leaving your network. No portal upload, no broker, no off-site staging.

02

Drafted on-site

OxRad Intelligence reads the study and drafts a structured report, running entirely on hardware in your clinic. The model comes to the data; the data does not go to the model.

03

Draft report

A structured draft is produced locally, formatted for clinical review and ready to drop into the radiologist's workflow. Every step is written to the OxChain audit so you can see exactly what happened.

04

Radiologist signs

A qualified radiologist reviews the draft, edits where needed, and signs. OxRad is assistive: it drafts, the clinician decides. OxRad never signs and is not an autonomous diagnostic device.

What never happens

  • No patient scan is uploaded to a third party.
  • No study is stored off-site or brokered to another service.
  • No inference runs in a vendor cloud.
  • No report is signed by anything other than a qualified radiologist.

OxRad accepts studies in standard DICOM, so it fits alongside the modalities and viewers you already run, without sending imaging outside the building.

Common questions

Does patient data leave the site?
No. A study arrives on the OxRad on-site node and inference runs there. No patient scan is uploaded to a third party, stored off-site, or sent to a vendor cloud.
Does OxRad sign the report?
No. OxRad Intelligence drafts the report; a qualified radiologist reviews, edits, and signs. OxRad never signs and is not an autonomous diagnostic device.
